Tindle’s Channel 103 grows radio audience

More than one in two adults in Jersey and Guernsey now tune into Tindle Radio stations every week according to the latest RAJAR* radio listening figures for Q1 2024.

Jersey’s Channel 103 has grown its weekly reach quarter-on-quarter to 53%– the highest of any radio station in the British Isles, BBC or commercial. That equates to an extra 2,800 people tuning in every week.

Channel 103 now has the highest share and percentage reach in the British Isles.

All weekday shows delivered audience increases. Breakfast Presenter Peter Mac said: “I’m delighted in such a competitive market Channel 103 is still leading the pack.

“In a world dominated by national brands, it’s heartening to know that keeping it local still matters to listeners!”

Island FM in Guernsey retained its number one position with 50% of the bailiwick listening every week.

RAJAR is the independent survey which tracks listening for both commercial and BBC stations. This release covers the period concluding March 2024.
