Tindle stations deliver biggest reach and audience share in the British Isles

Tindle's Channel Islands radio stations have secured the highest percentage reach and audience share anywhere in the British Isles.

Guernsey’s Island FM now has an impressive 58% of the bailiwick tuning in each week, retaining its position as the British Isles’ most listened-to radio station by percentage reach, according to the latest RAJAR numbers released today.

It’s a double dose of good news for the Guernsey station as the market share of 40.3% is the highest for more than two years meaning it also has the biggest market share of any radio station in the British Isles.

Today’s figures also reveal that sister station Channel 103 in Jersey has grown its audience by 2,000 compared to last quarter with each listener listening for longer – tuning in for 11.2 hours every week.

Tindle CI Broadcasting’s combined Channel Islands adult (15+) listenership has grown overall to 81,000 and total hours are 916,200.

Station director, James Keen said: “Today’s figures reflect the continuing hard work by the teams in both islands, on and off-air.”
