Businesses across the Channel Islands received expert marketing advice when they attended a series of free events organised by our trusted local radio stations.
Jersey’s Channel 103 and Island FM, our Guernsey station, offered companies insights on the latest ways of engaging new audiences through the annual autumn Business Club events.
Attendees were also able to sign up for long term marketing benefits by joining their local Business Club, which offers discounted packages through membership.
Channel 103 broadcasts to Jersey on 103.7FM, online and DAB+, while Island FM goes out to listeners in Guernsey on 104.7FM, Alderney on 93.7FM as well as online and DAB+.
The Channel 103 sessions were held at Jersey’s Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel in St Helier from 16th September to 19th September, before the Island FM team presented at the St Pierre Park Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort in Guernsey from 29th September to 2nd October.
Business growth
The events, organised through our partnership with global marketing leaders Evolve Media Sales, allowed businesses to understand the best ways of maximising their investment.
James Keen, Managing Director of Tindle Radio, said: “We have been really pleased with the response from businesses in Jersey and Guernsey. Across two weeks of presentations, we met more than 400 businesses from a variety of sectors, ranging from finance to hospitality, retail to medical, with more than 250 companies joining our Business Club.
“It has been hugely successful and we cannot wait to work with our new advertisers and helping them grow their businesses with the power of radio and digital combined.”
Nick Shaw, Director of Evolve Media Sales, said the Jersey event had seen a significant uplift in registrations. He said: “It was clear from the moment we launched the eighth year of the Channel 103 Business Club that the interest was going to be high, and with record levels of attendance and interest in Channel 103 Business Club, it is obvious the appetite for this multimedia marketing solution has never been stronger.
“It was fantastic to see a mixture of new and returning faces, and with the digital and economic landscape we all operate in undergoing change, the businesses walked away with insights and new ideas to help them grow their community of customers next year.
Success potential
“For Guernsey, with new team members and a new larger presentation venue the potential for success was obvious.
“The new presentation which focused on helping local business owners create communities of customers in this digital age really resonated with the audience, and it was a pleasure meeting the hundreds of attendees.
“It was exciting to see so many business owners want to engage with the new Island FM Business Club marketing membership, that allowed them to take the advice and implement this proven multi-media marketing formula for their business in 2026.”
