Tindle Radio Company Profile
Sir Ray Tindle acquired Island FM in Guernsey in February 1998 and the station became the first building block in what is now the Tindle Radio Group, which owns and manages eight radio stations. Tindle Radio is a totally separate company to Tindle Newspapers.
Sir Ray Tindle is the only shareholder and takes a keen interest in all his radio stations. He feels strongly that the role of the local radio station is to be an essential part of the community; his policy is to maintain the identity of each station and to empower the Tindle Radio Management Team and local management to deliver the best possible results.
Tindle Radio stations have good relationships with their clients and suppliers, and excellent reputations for involvement in local communities and the time they contribute to charitable events.
All Tindle Radio stations are members of RadioCentre, the trade body for Commercial Radio companies in the United Kingdom.
